Sealed with a Kiss
WORK IN PROGRESS
This story is so new I haven't even thought of a blurb. Let me give you the raw version.
Heroine is doing her PhD in mammalogy, studying a colony of seals which live on a difficult-to-reach beach at the base of a bluff. The bluff is part of a farm owned by an ornery sheep farmer who is none-too-pleased that her work is likely to get his farm listed as a site of conservation significance. When the farmer dies and his son takes over, the heroine thinks things are going to get easier. She couldn't be more wrong.
This guy has a chip the size of Tasmania on his shoulder and is hell-bent on stopping her study so that he can save his father's farm. Much to her horror he also turns out to be the man with the most historical knowledge of the colony's movements because he used to play with them as a child.
If she finishes her study, he loses his farm. If he protects the farm, her life's work is meaningless.
This can't end happily!
